Synopsis:

August “Auggie” Pullman has been homeschooled up until now. Not because of how he looks, but because he’s been in and out of surgeries for most of his life. Now his parents want him to start fifth grade in a regular middle school.

Although Auggie is used to people’s initial reaction when they see his face, entering the world of middle school is something different entirely. Wonder walks you through the highs and lows of his entire fifth grade year, taking turns seeing through the eyes of his friends, his sister, and Auggie himself.

Wonder is an incredible story of immense bravery, personal growth, and love. It is a fantastic book for children you feel are ready. We suggest you wait until fourth grade or up.
